Sustainability Program ManagerThe Sustainability Program Manager is responsible for leading and expanding CCG's sustainability initiatives across operations, suppliers, products, and customer engagement. This position drives ESG programs, sustainability certifications, customer sustainability support, supplier engagement, and cross-functional sustainability strategy. This position works closely with leadership, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and strategic partners to support programs involving ESG reporting, Scope 3 initiatives, ISCC+ supply chain programs, EcoVadis, sustainability documentation, and environmentally responsible product development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Sustainability & ESG Program ManagementLead CCG's sustainability roadmap and ESG program executionSupport sustainability initiatives aligned with customer, supplier, and corporate objectivesCoordinate sustainability metrics, reporting activities, and continuous improvement initiativesAssist with development of sustainability goals tied to operations, sourcing, packaging, and product strategyCertifications & ComplianceManage sustainability-related certifications and frameworks including: EcoVadis, SBTi, ISCCCoordinate audits, documentation collection, corrective actions, and annual renewalsMaintain supplier sustainability records and supporting documentationCustomer Sustainability SupportSupport customer ESG surveys, sustainability questionnaires, and supplier qualification requestsDevelop sustainability declarations, material statements, and supporting documentation packagesCollaborate with marketing and commercial teams on sustainability messaging and customer-facing materialsSupport sustainability-related customer meetings and strategic initiativesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with engineering, sourcing, quality, operations, and product management teamsSupport sustainable material selection initiatives and lower-carbon product strategiesAssist in evaluating supplier sustainability performance and improvement opportunitiesHelp implement scalable sustainability systems and internal processesIndustry & Market AwarenessMonitor sustainability trends within bioprocessing, single-use systems, and pharmaceutical manufacturingTrack evolving customer requirements related to Scope 3 emissions, material traceability, circularity, and sustainable sourcingDesired Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field3+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, compliance, quality systems, supply chain, or manufacturing operationsExperience supporting sustainability frameworks or certifications preferredStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience within biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or industrial manufacturing environments preferredDesired Knowledge, Skills, and Expertise:Supplier sustainability programsESG reporting systemsLife cycle assessment (LCA) or product carbon footprint (PCF) exposureSustainable materials or mass balance programsISO-based management systemsBioprocessing or single-use technologiesWork EnvironmentWork is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment and throughout a heated manufacturing and warehouse facility.The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
