Supporting surveying and mapping activities for utility and infrastructure projects, the full-time Survey Technician will assist survey crews in collecting accurate field data, preparing survey documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards on-site. Key responsibilities Assist survey crews in performing topographic, boundary, route, and construction surveys for power delivery and utility projects Collect, record, and verify field measurements and geographic data for project planning and design Support the preparation of survey maps, field notes, sketches, and reports using CAD or survey software Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field preferred) 3 years of experience in land surveying or utility surveying Familiarity with surveying equipment such as Trimble, Leica, or Topcon systems Basic knowledge of surveying principles, measurements, and field procedures Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, maps, and technical drawings
