Supporting the accurate processing and compliance of surplus lines tax filings, the full-time Surplus Lines Tax Specialist will manage documentation, monitor filing deadlines, and reconcile tax payments in a remote work environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and support surplus lines tax documentation and reporting across multiple states Monitor filing deadlines to ensure compliance with state surplus lines tax regulations Reconcile tax payments and maintain accurate records while resolving discrepancies in a timely manner Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred 2+ years of experience in tax support, insurance operations, or accounting support required Experience with multi-state surplus lines tax regulations or regulatory filing processes is highly desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing and analyzing large data sets Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
