Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Surgical Technology Program . This is a full- time , professional position reporting directly to the Program Director . The primary responsibility will be to teach Surgical Technology courses . Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation .
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program resulting in an Associate degree is required; a bachelor in Allied Health or a related field is required
- Certifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist
- At least three years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated , and results - driven
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
