Surgical Technologist
Prepares, organizes and monitors the sterile field environment under the direction of a surgeon and a registered nurse for assigned surgical cases/deliveries. Provides assistance to the surgeon/physician and registered nurse as directed. Estimated pay range for this position is $37.24 - $45.62 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications
Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper. Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support. Additional Qualifications: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program Preferred. AST Certification preferred or extensive experience (2 years preferred) in one of the following specialties: Open Heart, Neurosurgery, or Hepatobiliary. For Open Heart, Neurosurgery, and Hepatobiliary, validated training and competency endorsed by the Director of Surgery and the specialty Chief is required. Work experience preferred. Or is a lead surgical technologist for a service line - endorsed by the Directory of Surgery. Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years
