Position

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Inpatient Surgery Department . The role requires a dedicated team member with outstanding clinical skills, the ability to multitask, stay organized, and deliver excellent care efficiently and compassionately. The Inpatient Surgery department consists of 17 operating rooms covering specialties including Ortho, Neuro, Spine, Bariatric, GYN, Robotic, Vascular, Endovascular, Urology, Plastics, and General cases. Procedures are performed on a mainly adult population with an average of 850 cases per month. Responsibilities include setting up sterile supplies and assisting surgeons throughout procedures.

Qualifications For Surgical Technologist

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based training program.
• Surgical Technologist licensure in the State of Washington required.
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred.
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
• One to two years of OR experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
