Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Shift times available: (Monday‑Friday) 10:30am – 7:00pm; (Monday‑Thursday) 6:30am – 5:00pm; (Monday‑Friday) 6:30am – 3:00pm. NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS, NO CALL.

Job Summary

Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Technologist/LPN performs procedures within their scope of practice to provide the safest and most effective service to patient and surgeon. The Surgical Technologist anticipates the needs of the surgical team, proficiently handling and passing instruments, sutures, sponges and all other necessary sterile equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology with one (1) year of Operating Room experience preferred.
• Good communication and decision‑making skills.
• Surgical Technology Certification (CST) preferred.
• Current BLS certification through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) course, including a manikin check‑off.

Physical Demands

Must possess good physical health. Requirements include standing, sitting or walking for long periods; lifting at least 50 pounds; working in a moderate level of noise. Physical effort required: Constant (67%‑100%) reaching, handling/feeling, talking, hearing, seeing; frequently (34%‑66%) lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, stooping, crouching; occasionally (1%‑33%) climbing stairs or ladders, crawling.
