Surgical Technologist at Surgery Center of Columbia
The Surgical Technologist, the primary responsibility of this position is to assist in providing nursing care of the surgical patient in the O.R. suite.
Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi‑task, show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- Must be a high school graduate or have completed a GED course.
- Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist course.
- Have a basic knowledge of surgical techniques.
- Assist in providing care for the surgical patient.
- General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room.
