  • Job Summary:

    • To perform all duties related to assisting the surgeon in the care of the patient in the surgical setting.

  • Education:

    • Position requires a certificate from a college or technical school or 6 months- 1 years equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.

  • Registration/Certification/Licensure:

    • Certified Surgical Technician preferred

  • Experience:

    • Position requires 6 months -1 years related experience.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Maintains unit specific and hospital competencies according to policy requirements

    • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
