SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST-OBSTETRICS

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Location: Arlington, TX

We are looking for a Surgical Technologist-Obstetrics or OB Technician for our practice. This position provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care.

In fulfilling these duties, the incumbent performs the following responsibilities:

Functions as a sterile member of the operating room nursing team.

Assists surgeons and professional nursing staff as directed.

Assists with the management of equipment and supplies.

Assists with the orientation of new scrub technician staff.

Provides call coverage as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Certifications:

Must have 1 year working as an OB Tech in an acute care healthcare setting. (RECENT ACUTE CARE EXP IS REQUIRED)

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Surgical technologists and current CST.

BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Schedule: Days and night shifts rotating; On-Call
