Role Overview: Provides direct patient care within the LDRP PCU North, utilizing top of scope practice, evidence-based approaches, and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, quality care in Women's Care, Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU units.
- Model proficiency through precepting new healthcare team members and supporting ongoing education.
- Contribute to a secure safety environment and promote evidence-based practices.
- Follow standards from organizations like AWHONN and AACN, including certifications such as RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School diploma, GED, or Military training.
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
- Minimum 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduation from an accredited program.
- BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
