This Surgical Technologist position is a Full‑Time Days role working Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The position requires taking call and is located at Baptist Medical Center South.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, organize and maintain a sterile field for operative procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordingly.
- Properly dispose of specimens and instruments.
- Work with the entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety.
- Call is required for this position.
Experience Requirements
- Less than 1 year of Surgical Technologist Experience.
Education & Credential Requirements
- Vocational School or Associate’s Degree (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
