Surgical Technologist II - Operating Room | Full Time

Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) | 10-hour shifts |Variable weekend on-call rotation as required

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities

  • Assistsurgeons during operative and invasive procedures while maintaining strictsterile technique
  • Prepareand maintain operating rooms with the instruments, equipment, and suppliesneeded for each procedure
  • Monitorand maintain inventory levels of surgical instruments and supplies
  • Clean,disinfect, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments in accordance withinfection control and hospital safety standards
  • Handlemedications under the direct supervision of the surgeon or registerednurse
  • Participatein department meetings, ongoing training, and performance improvementinitiatives
  • Fostera collaborative, patient-focused surgical environment committed to qualitycare

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

  • Minimumof 3 years of operating room experience or Surgical Technologistcertification
  • Abilityto independently scrub a variety of surgical specialties
  • Highschool diploma or GED preferred
  • Graduateof an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
  • CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required

    • Musculoskeletalanatomy and physiology
    • EnhancedRecovery After Surgery (ERAS)
    • Painmanagement
    • Patientmobility and safety
    • Preventionof DVT, infection, and pressure injuries
    • Glucosemanagement
