Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) | 10-hour shifts |Variable weekend on-call rotation as required
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
- Assistsurgeons during operative and invasive procedures while maintaining strictsterile technique
- Prepareand maintain operating rooms with the instruments, equipment, and suppliesneeded for each procedure
- Monitorand maintain inventory levels of surgical instruments and supplies
- Clean,disinfect, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments in accordance withinfection control and hospital safety standards
- Handlemedications under the direct supervision of the surgeon or registerednurse
- Participatein department meetings, ongoing training, and performance improvementinitiatives
- Fostera collaborative, patient-focused surgical environment committed to qualitycare
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Minimumof 3 years of operating room experience or Surgical Technologistcertification
- Abilityto independently scrub a variety of surgical specialties
- Highschool diploma or GED preferred
- Graduateof an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
- CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required
