Role Overview: This position is for a Certified Surgical Technologist II who works as part of the operating room team to prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to procedural guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgeries
- Assist with direct patient care in the operating room
- Perform room duties aligned with established protocols
- Provide care appropriate to patient development levels, considering family needs
- High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or military equivalent
- At least two years of work experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Completion of CST III career ladder requirements
- Maintain Certified Surgical Technologist credential
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
