Surgical Technologist (CST)Immediate need for a talented Surgical Technologist (CST). This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.Pay Range: $35/hr - $40/hour.Key Responsibilities:Schedule: 12hrs Day ShiftSet up sterile surgical trays, instruments, and equipment for a variety of trauma and general surgery cases.Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and supplies under sterile technique.Anticipate surgeon needs and maintain a sterile field throughout operations.Prepare patients for surgery including skin prep and draping.Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures.Assist with room turnover, restocking supplies, and instrument sterilization.Respond to Level 1 trauma activations with speed and precision.Collaborate effectively with surgical teams in a high?stress, fast?paced environment.Participate in on?call rotation, weekends, and holidays as scheduled (no block scheduling).Consistent day shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week plus call, weekends, and holidaysOpportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma operating room at a major academic medical centerHigh?acuity, fast?paced environment for experienced techs4 positions available – great chance to join a teamPrime Atlanta, GA location – vibrant city with world?class dining, culture, and attractionsKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credentialAHA BLS certification (required)Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an operating room settingLevel 1 Trauma experience (required)Previous travel assignment experience (required)High skill set rating with strong referencesBurn experience (preferred)Ability to work day shifts (6:45am – 7:15pm) with call, weekends, and holidaysNo block scheduling – must be flexibleBoth local and travel candidates considered (no radius restriction for locals)Mastery of sterile technique and surgical instrumentationStrong knowledge of trauma, general, and specialty surgical proceduresExcellent communication and anticipation skills under pressureAbility to work independently and as part of a high?performing teamCalm, focused, and efficient in emergency trauma situationsCommitment to patient safety and infection controlOur client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
