Surgical Technician - PRN

About the Role

As a Surgical Technician (ST), you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment, supporting our surgeons and patients during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure instruments and equipment remain in good working order.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Pass instruments to the physician during surgery.
• Continuously account for the number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a surgical technician at another facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; graduate of a surgical technology program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire.

Schedule

PRN, with no holidays, weekends, or on‑call duties.
