Surgical Technician

We are seeking a Surgical Technician II to support surgical teams by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment, performing equipment decontamination, sterilization, and assisting during surgical procedures. The role involves anticipating the needs of surgeons and clinical staff, ensuring patient safety, and upholding professional interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications Include

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or military training in surgical technology
• Certification as a National Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Operating room experience—either through accredited training programs or at least one year of scrubbing on surgical procedures

Key Duties

• Assist in patient care during surgery by preparing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
• Perform sterilization and equipment decontamination
• Support surgeons and surgical team needs for efficient operative procedures
• Maintain professionalism and positive interactions with patients and staff
