Surgical Technician
The Surgical Technician reports to the Nursing Perioperative Service. Provides assistance to the surgeon and other team members during surgical procedures. Participates in planning and implementing complex procedures under the general supervision of the surgical team. Is also a primary clinical site for training of resident physicians, medical students, nursing students, surgical technology students and ophthalmology technology students while in the peri-operative setting.
