Shift Information
Shift: 7A - 7P
Unit Information
Unit Type: Labor & Delivery
Number of Beds: 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs
Number of Staff: 60
Day Shift Staffing:

• 1 Charge RN
• 2-3 LD RNs
• 2-3 Postpartum RNs

Night Shift Staffing: Same as Day Shift
Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:2 max for LD and 3:1 for Postpartum, per AWHONN guidelines
Type of Equipment: Beacon EMR, CPN, and Meditech
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of current CST L&D experience
• Active BLS, NBTSA, and DORA Certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• LDRP experience
• Postpartum experience

Typical Procedures
Common procedures performed in this unit include:

• Versions
• C-Sections
• Vaginal assisted deliveries
• D&C procedures
