Overview Position: Surgical Tech - $20,000 Sign on Bonus with a two year commitment. Schedule/Shift: 1.0 FTE Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 0630 - 1500 Holiday A rotation Call rotation - Housing available when on call overnight. Definition Of Position
Performs a variety of technical duties to assist the surgeon, patient and or team with surgical procedures.

Also subject to rapid pace, multiple stimuli, unpredictable environment, and critical situations. Physical Demands/Traits Must be able to: Perceive the nature of sounds by the ear Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word Perceive characteristics of objects through the eyes Extend arms and hands in any direction Seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hands Pick, pinch, or otherwise work with fingers Able to lift/carry 50 lbs or more Able to tolerate frequent prolonged standing/walking Able to lift, position, push and/or transfer patients.
Qualifications
Surgical Tech I Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: NA Licenses/ certifications/ registrations Required: None required. Preferred: NA Experience Required: NA Preferred: One-year perioperative services experience preferred. Surgical Tech II Education Required: Associate degree or National Certification. Preferred: NA Licenses/ certifications/ registrations Required: Associate degree or National Certification. Preferred: NA Experience Required: NA Preferred: 6 months' clinical experience preferred. Surgical Tech III Education Required: Associate degree. Preferred: Licenses/ certifications/ registrations Required: Certified Surgical Technologist. Preferred: Experience Required: three years of perioperative experience. Other: Exposure to blood, sharp instruments and other devices, body fluids and tissue, communicable diseases, chemicals, radiation, and repetitive motions Standing and walking for extensive periods of time Working irregular hours including call hours Manual and finger dexterity Hand and eye coordination Corrected vision and hearing within normal range
