Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Surgical Technologist at the University of Tennesee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
Position Highlights:
* Opportunity to care for Military Families
* Paid Time Off
* Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K
* Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts
* On Call On-call begins Friday at 1830 and ends Monday at 0630. On call one weekend per month.
* If called in must report within 30 minutes.
Job Requirements:
* Experience : One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation.
* Education :
* Graduate from CAAHEP - Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (or)
* ABHES - Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (or)
* Completion of a formal training program provided by any U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.
* Certification :
* Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA -The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (or)
* Certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from the NCCT - National Center for Competency Testing (or)
