Must-Have:

Experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologists with open-heart surgery experience.Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required.Experience with cardiac and vascular surgical procedures is essential.Ability to take call and respond within the required timeframe.

Description:This position involves working in a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room setting.Successful candidates will be part of a scheduled call rotation.Competencies must be maintained for cardiovascular surgical procedures.Candidates must be able to work independently.The typical schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.Some Thursday call coverage is required, along with a monthly call rotation of approximately 10-12 on-call days.Weekend call is rotated among team members.Candidates must be able to report within the established call-back response time.This role requires knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and specialty cardiovascular equipment.Typical procedures include Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Valve Repair and Replacement, TAVR Procedures, Aortic Aneurysm Repairs, and Vascular Surgical Procedures.
