Position: Surgical Technologist

Location: Cloverdale Outpatient Surgery Center – Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hours a day (Mon‑Fri). No nights, weekends, holidays, or call.

Position Highlights

• Location: Cloverdale Outpatient Surgery Center – Winston‑Salem, NC
• Schedule: 4‑10 hour shifts per week, Monday‑Friday. No nights, weekends, holidays or call.
• Clinic Overview: State‑of‑the‑art outpatient surgery center featuring eight operating rooms and two procedure rooms, with 32 beds for preparation, recovery, and post‑anesthesia care. Services include general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, urology, and plastic surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program (REQUIRED: Degree or Diploma).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• At least one year of Surgical Technology experience.
• Preferred: Certification in a specialty area.

How You’ll Impact Patient Care

Embrace a pivotal role in patient care alongside the Registered Nurse. Support direct patient care, prepare the operating room pre‑ and post‑surgery, arrange sterile instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques. Key responsibilities include anticipating and addressing case‑specific needs under RN supervision, managing instruments and supplies with accuracy and timeliness, communicating effectively with the team, and demonstrating cost‑containment practices regarding inventory.
