Schedule: Day shift | Full-time


How you'll make an impact in this role



  • Lead and coordinate shift operations including schedules and resources.

  • Assist surgeons during surgery, providing required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon and assisting with hemostasis.

  • Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.

  • Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provide input to staff performance evaluations.


What minimum qualifications you'll need


Licensure / Certification / Registration:



  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • One or more of the following required:

    • Surgical Assistant credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and SurgicalAssisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    • Surgical Assistant credentialed from the National Commission for the Certification of SurgicalAssistants (NCCSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.




Education:



  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.


What additional requirements you'll need



  • 3 years of OR experience

  • 2 years of Neurosurgery experience
