Job Description

• Perform thorough evaluations, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive medical history reviews.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging tests and laboratory reports.
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical care plans.
• Provide operative support including preparing surgical environments, positioning patients, and handing surgical instruments during operations.
• Ensure outstanding pre- and post-operative care including administering medications, managing wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients.

Education

• Completion of a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in surgical clinical rotations preferred for optimal integration into the surgical team.

Certifications

• Possession of a current, unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification are necessary.
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in Tennessee.
