Job Description

• Execute thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab findings
• Engage collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement personalized surgical treatment strategies
• Offer vital intraoperative assistance by preparing surgical rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing instrument exchanges during surgical procedures
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, caring for wounds, assisting with discharge arrangements, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
