Surgical/PCU RN

Role: Surgical MS/PCU RN

Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical and progressive care unit.
• Manage post-operative and high-acuity med-surg patients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret telemetry data.
• Administer IV medications and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Accurately document patient information in the EHR.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current RN license with relevant experience in surgical or progressive care settings.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
• Ability to interpret telemetry and administer IV medications proficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills.
