  • Join a team composed of eight physicians, two Ph.Ds, and three Pathology Assistants, as well as a larger multidisciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, residents, fellows, and research faculty
  • State-of-the-art pathology and hospital systems

Responsibilities

  • Positions will focus on Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology with addiitonal Surgical Pathology services across general and subspecialty areas (GI/liver, breast, GYN, GU, thoracic, or other areas of expertise)
  • Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborative care
  • Engage in scholarly activity, including clinical or translational research
  • Collaborate with clinicians and basic science investigators
  • Document findings and reports using institutional systems

Qualifications

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology
  • For Cytopathology position, fellowship training and experience in Cytopathology required
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the District of Columbia
  • Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and research
