Surgical Oncologist

CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is seeking two Board Certified/Board Eligible Surgical Oncologists to join their expanding Surgical Oncology program. This role involves providing complex oncologic surgery and/or head and neck oncology within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Practice Info

• Established Surgical Oncology practice with strong referral base
• Multidisciplinary cancer program with access to medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, and supportive care services
• State-of-the-art operating rooms and advanced surgical technology
• Opportunity to build and grow a regional referral program for complex oncologic and head & neck cancers

Responsibilities

• Perform tongue cancer resections
• Perform oral cavity cancer surgery
• Perform parotidectomy and salivary gland tumor surgery
• Perform thyroid cancer surgery
• Perform neck dissections for regional metastatic disease
• Perform melanoma surgery, including Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy
• Perform colorectal cancer surgery
• Perform Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC)

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology and/or Head & Neck Oncology preferred
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Mexico
