Position Overview

Seeking a full‑time BC/BE fellowship‑trained Surgical Oncologist to grow a mature surgical oncology program.

Practice and Clinical Opportunities

• Join Surgical Institute of South Dakota, a private group of 11 surgeons and 9 advanced practice providers, established 40 years ago.
• Surgical Oncology practice focusing on stomach, foregut, melanoma, carcinoma, small bowel, hepatobiliary, and esophageal cases.
• Located on the hospital campus with multidisciplinary collaboration with 10 medical oncologists, 3 breast surgeons, 3 gynecologic oncologists, 7 radiation oncologists, 3 palliative medicine physicians, and 5 hematology/transplant & cellular therapy physicians. Weekly tumor conferences cover multiple specialties.
• Newly renovated inpatient suites, outpatient surgery center built within the last 13 years, and 5 da Vinci XI/V5 surgical robotics systems.
