Sutter North Medical Group (SNMG) is seeking a BE/BC Surgical Oncologist with dedicated breast surgery expertise to join and expand its multidisciplinary cancer program in Yuba City, California. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and grow a comprehensive breast surgery program while maintaining a broader surgical oncology practice. The successful candidate will play an integral role in shaping the future vision of breast cancer services and the development of a new state-of-the-art cancer center.

Practice Info

  • Practice within a multidisciplinary cancer care team that includes medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, genetics, survivorship, and nurse navigation services
  • Flexibility to maintain a mix of breast surgery and General Surgical Oncology

  • Build and grow a comprehensive breast surgery program

Compensation

  • $441,500 /Yr.
  • Sign-on bonus of up to $20,000
  • Relocation assistance of up to $20,000 for qualified applicants

Requirements

  • Completed advanced breast surgery training through a Breast Surgery Fellowship following General Surgery residency, or Surgical Oncology fellowship training with significant experience and expertise in breast surgery
  • Breast surgery will be a core and essential component of this position
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Eligible for medical licensure in California
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care
  • Interest in developing and growing breast surgical services within the community
  • Entrepreneurial, relationship-focused, and excited by the challenge of growing a referral-based practice
