Surgical Oncologist

Sutter North Medical Group (SNMG) is seeking a BE/BC Surgical Oncologist with dedicated breast surgery expertise to join and expand its multidisciplinary cancer program in Yuba City, California. This is a unique opportunity to establish and grow a comprehensive breast surgery program while maintaining a broader surgical oncology practice. The role offers significant organizational support for program development and the chance to shape the future vision of breast cancer services within a new, state-of-the-art cancer center.

Practice Info

• Practice within a multidisciplinary cancer care team that includes medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, genetics, survivorship, and nurse navigation services
• Opportunity to establish and grow a breast surgery program from the ground up

Compensation

• Annual salary of $441,500
• Sign-on bonus of up to $20,000
• Relocation assistance of up to $20,000 for qualified applicants

Requirements

• Completed advanced breast surgery training through a Breast Surgery Fellowship following General Surgery residency, or Surgical Oncology fellowship training with significant experience and expertise in breast surgery
• BE/BC in General Surgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in California
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care
• Interest in developing and growing breast surgical services within the community
