Amplify Surgical has an opening for a Clinical Specialist Associate at its corporate office inIrvine. Reporting directly to the Clinical Specialist, this position is responsible for meeting and exceeding service goals by advancing high-quality spinal fusion solutions utilizing innovative implant technology. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly access the issues and problem-solve to provide an optimal service level of performance.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to travel 70% of the time
- Provide product expertise to surgeon users in the operating room
- Train surgeons and OR staff on the product use
- Direct and guide the OR staff during surgery to prepare for product use
- Assist and support lab operational duties
- Maintains customer communication via e-mails, phone calls, text, etc., regarding surgeries, demos, shipments, restocking, and returns.
- Physical Requirements- medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Possible off-hours, weekends, and holidays to support business needs
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment
- Experience with a medical device company or spine experience is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills backed by solid technical knowledge
- A versatile and service-oriented mindset
- Good understanding of safety guidelines
- Technically savvy and computer literate
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours
