A physician-led academic health system in the Phoenix metro area is seeking an experienced BC/BE Trauma Surgeon to serve as Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program Director and Surgical ICU Medical Director .

Position Highlights:

• Leadership role as Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program Director
• Serve as Surgical ICU Medical Director
• Practice trauma, emergency surgery, and surgical critical care
• Faculty appointment with resident and fellow teaching
• Opportunity to lead research in health services, translational science, or basic science
• Work within a collaborative, physician-led academic environment
• Practice at a nationally recognized Level I Adult & Pediatric Trauma and Burn Center
• Home to Phoenix's only ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care residency

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency and Surgical Critical Care fellowship
• Strong experience in trauma, emergency surgery, and surgical critical care
• Demonstrated record of teaching and scholarly activity
• Commitment to academic medicine, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration
