Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Surgical Outcomes Coordinator (Remote Role) to support our client’s medical facility based in Flushing, NY – 11355 . This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details

Job Title: Surgical Outcomes Coordinator

Location: Flushing, NY – 11355

Pay Range: $35.00/hr to $40.00/hr

Schedule: Ongoing Schedule: Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM

Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract) with possible extension

Responsibilities

  • Abstract, validate, and submit surgical clinical data in accordance with ACS NSQIP and/or MBSAQIP standards
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for national registry submissions
  • Analyze surgical outcomes and identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps
  • Collaborate with surgeons, perioperative teams, and quality leadership to support quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with program requirements, policies, and accreditation standards
  • Prepare reports and presentations related to surgical outcomes and quality metrics
  • Serve as a clinical resource regarding surgical quality, outcomes, and benchmarking

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare (Clinical Nursing or Medicine required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience (inpatient experience strongly preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Surgical Clinical Reviewer (SCR)
  • Previous experience with ACS NSQIP and/or MBSAQIP programs
  • Strong clinical and surgical knowledge base
  • Excellent attention to detail and data abstraction skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Perioperative or surgical services experience
  • Quality improvement, outcomes research, or performance improvement background
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary surgical teams
