Surgical Clinical Reviewer

To support the Office of External Assessments, the full-time remote Senior Surgical Clinical Reviewer will ensure reliable data collection and submission to the American College of Surgeons' National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP), overseeing both Adult and Pediatric programs while facilitating clinical quality improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities Maintains and oversees the Adult and Pediatric NSQIP programs, ensuring compliance with program requirements Facilitates data collection and analysis, including auditing surgical cases for quality improvement and reporting findings to relevant committees Acts as an educational resource on the ACS NSQIP, developing materials and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum three years' experience as a Surgical Clinical Reviewer required Must take and pass the annual ACS NSQIP Adult and Pediatric SCR Certification Exams Completion of NSQIP training modules and certification examination required within three months Knowledge of quality improvement principles, data collection, and analysis methodologies
