To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Surgical Authorization Coordinator will manage the pre-operative process, including medical clearances, insurance authorizations, and diagnostic testing, while working remotely and ensuring patients are prepared for their scheduled procedures. Key responsibilities Manage each patient's surgical pathway from scheduling through procedure completion Coordinate and follow up on insurance authorizations to ensure timely approval prior to surgery Communicate regularly with patients regarding outstanding requirements and surgery preparation Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel Ability to manage multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with electronic medical records (EMR)
