Vascular Surgery
Position Overview
Seeking a Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Vascular Surgeon to provide inpatient vascular surgery coverage. The provider will cover surgical cases, inpatient units, emergency department consults, and call responsibilities for one five-day consecutive block each month.
Compensation:
Hourly: $2800 per 24 hours
Call Back: $525/hr
Schedule
Start Date: September 15, 2026
Coverage: One consecutive five-day block per month
Five days per week
Includes weekday call and possible weekend coverage
Practice Setting
Inpatient Hospital
Level I Trauma Center
Responsibilities
Perform vascular surgery procedures
Provide inpatient rounding and management
Cover emergency department vascular consults
Manage inpatient vascular surgery patients
Participate in beeper/phone and in-house call coverage
Practice Details
Adult and geriatric patients
100% inpatient
Average daily census: patients
Call ratio: 1:5
Average callback: Approximately 1 hour

Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Fellowship trained
Active Ohio license preferred
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Clean malpractice, background, and licensure history (required)
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
Travel reimbursement provided for airfare, lodging, and rental car
