- Urgent Dates: September 5 at 7:00 a.m. ÄìSeptember 14, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.
- Future Coverage: Ongoing as needed
- Setting: Inpatient and clinic
- Monday ÄìFriday: Clinical coverage from 7:00 a.m. Äì5:00 p.m.
- Weeknight Call: 5:00 p.m. Äì7:00 a.m.
- Weekend Call: 24-hour call from 7:00 a.m. Äì7:00 a.m.
- Inpatient Volume: Approximately 4 Äì6 Cardiothoracic Surgery patients daily
- Clinic Volume: Approximately 10 Äì12 patients when clinic coverage is needed
- Surgical Volume: Approximately 1 Äì2 CABGs per week and 5 Äì7 other surgical cases
- EMR: Meditech
- Credentialing: As soon as possible Requirements
- Board-Eligible Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgeon required; Board Certified strongly preferred
- Active and unrestricted Ohio medical license
- Current ACLS
- Availability for the complete September 5 Äì14 coverage block
- Current CABG and thoracic surgery experience
- Ability to provide weekday, night, and weekend call coverage
- Clean malpractice and professional history strongly preferred for emergency privileges Clinical Details
- Round on Cardiovascular Surgery inpatients
- Provide clinic coverage for patients requiring care during the regular surgeon Äôs absence
- Perform CABG and thoracic surgical procedures
- Respond onsite for emergent consultations and procedures
- Maintain responsibility for patients requiring Cardiovascular Surgery care at the facility
- Vascular surgery experience is beneficial but not required
- Work with an established PA, NP, MA, and office supervisor
