Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Michigan M-F Clinic Hours + Night Call Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage needed a minimum of 3 weeks per month
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90-120 days

Shift Details
Preferred schedule: 3+ weeks per month, Monday through Friday clinic hours with night call
Night call coverage required
No weekend call coverage

Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Active Michigan license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Clean malpractice and license history - Highly Preferred

Required Procedures / Skills
Must be able to work independently
Adult Cardiac Surgery
General Thoracic Surgery
CABG
Heart Valve Repair/Replacement
Tube Thoracostomy
Pericardial Window
Thoracotomy (Lung Biopsy, Lung Resection, Pneumonectomy)
Thoracotomy Decortication
Mediastinal Surgery

Assignment Details
Coverage needed Monday through Friday with night call and patient rounding
Trauma Level I
2 dedicated CV Surgery ORs available during daytime hours
Adult patient population
Average volume: Approximately 1 case per weekend
EMR: Epic
