Surgery - General Physician

AdventHealth, one of the nation s largest nonprofit, faith-based health systems, with 57 hospitals across nine states, is seeking an experienced General Surgeon for a Surgicalist role at AdventHealth Tampa, our 626-bed flagship hospital and tertiary care center in the West Florida Division. The ideal candidate will be board certified with at least five years of experience. Teaching and research through our general surgery residency program will be key components of this role.

The Taneja Center for Surgery features:

• 96 new private patient rooms, with space to add 36 more
• 24 beds that are Intensive Care level; the remaining 72 are PCU level
• 18 spacious and state-of-the-art operating rooms with space to add six additional ORs
• 72 new pre- and post-op rooms, with space to add 23 additional rooms
• 300,000+ additional square feet (adding to the 1 million square feet on our existing campus)
