JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Eligible required
- Licenses: Licensed in NM, New Mexico Controlled Substance License
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
- Provide General Surgery and Trauma call coverage for ER and inpatient consultations.
- Manage inpatient surgical patients including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
- Perform emergency surgical procedures as needed for trauma and acute conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in a Level III trauma center.
- Document patient encounters and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
