General Surgery Call for ER/Trauma and Inpatient Coverage. Level 3 Trauma Certified facility. No outpatient Clinic.

Coverage Type: Call Only

Call Type: Beeper

Duration: ASAP to Ongoing

Schedule: Friday 4/3/2026 at 7AM to Thursday 4/9/2026 at 7AM

Key Responsibilities

Emergency privileges are an option

Call response time required: less than 30 minutes

Patient encounters per shift: 1-5

Average phone consults: 1-15

Average patients seen: 3-5

Admissions: 1-2 day

Rounding: Both

Candidate Requirements

Provider must have a NM Medical license, NM Controlled Substance license and DEA

Licensed in NM

Board Certification: Eligible

Required Certifications:

ACLS ATLS BLS

Hospital privileges required: Yes

Temporary privileges available: Yes

Estimated credentialing time: 1 day

EMR System: Cerner
