• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• BLS certification
• Kentucky medical license preferred; candidates needing licensure may be considered
• Clean background required
• Availability for one of the requested date blocks
• At least 1 year of cardiothoracic surgery experience required
• Experience with a heavy cardiac surgery focus strongly preferred
• Impella support experience required
• Structural heart support experience in a hybrid OR/cath lab required

• Provide comprehensive adult cardiac surgery care in a hospital setting
• Perform CABG procedures, including arterial revascularization and redo cases
• Manage heart valve repair and valve replacement surgeries
• Handle general thoracic procedures such as tube thoracostomy, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, VATS decortication/lung biopsy, and pericardial window
• Support ICU management of high-risk patients, including Impella insertion/removal and medical management of critically ill cases
• Assist with structural heart procedures in the hybrid OR and cath lab
• Collaborate with anesthesiology, first assist, ICU, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in efficient care coordination
