Join a dedicated team at a renowned hospital located in the heart of Lima, Ohio. This facility is known for its commitment to providing exceptional patient care and has a robust infrastructure equipped with 20 operating rooms. The practice provides hospital-based rounding and is seeking locum coverage for gaps in call, ensuring continuous care for adult patients. The ideal candidate will be available for a 24-hour call shift from September 11 to September 16, allowing for a collaborative approach to cardiovascular healthcare.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide coverage for cardiovascular surgeries during designated call shifts.
- Manage and perform necessary cardiothoracic procedures including:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Arterial Revascularization
- Redo Coronary Revascularization
- Heart Valve Repair and Replacement
- Pericardial Window procedures
- Mitral Valve Repair
- Collaborate with a skilled support team including 3 Physician Assistants.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) through EPIC for patient documentation.
- Participate in hospital-based rounding and patient care decisions.
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Completed fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Demonstrated experience with the required procedures.
- Proven ability to manage adult patient populations.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system is preferred.
- Active Ohio Medical License (required).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
