General Surgery Opportunity - Kingsville, TX Corpus Christi 40m Position Details

• Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon to join the practice.
• Kingsville, TX, a historic ranching community near the Texas coast
• 96-bed Level IV trauma hospital with 3 operating rooms and a clinic building on campus
• Over 600 surgeries, 21,500 ED visits and 1,700 discharges projected a year
• Broad scope: gallbladders, hernias, EGDs, colonoscopies and PEGs
• Typical week of 3 clinic days and 2 blocked OR days
• Call 1:3, with 1:2 available for additional pay
• Major trauma is stabilized and transferred; hospitalists manage most acute care
• Hospitalist, tele-pulmonology and tele-critical care support
• Established referral base
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• 5 to 7 years of experience preferred
• Must live within 20 to 30 minutes of the hospital
