We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum Physician specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery to provide coverage for our hospital setting, including rounding and surgical procedures as needed. This position offers a flexible 24-hour schedule with opportunities to make a significant impact in patient care.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform cardiovascular surgeries including Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), and Heart Valve Replacement.
- Provide hospital rounding and follow-up care for patients.
- Participate in the on-call schedule as required.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient management.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and standards of care.
- Travel to and from the facility will be reimbursed based on IRS standard rates.
- Fellowship training in cardiovascular surgery (required)
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Surgery (required)
- Active South Carolina medical license (required)
- Current ACLS certification (required)
- Clean background check and NPBD report required for consideration.
