Join Our Team at Avera Brookings We re seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team and provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare environment. What You ll Do
- Provide comprehensive general surgical care for patients
- Perform a broad range of general surgery procedures utilizing advanced surgical technology including access to robotics
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Participate in surgical call coverage and emergency surgical care
- Contribute to a patient-focused culture that values quality, safety, and innovation
- Five (5) day work week with dedicated OR and clinic time
- 1:4 shared call rotation
- MD or DO, licensed (or eligible) in South Dakota
- Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
- DEA certification (state and federal)
