What You ll Do
  • Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions using physical exams and diagnostic imaging
  • Develop personalized treatment plans combining surgical and non-surgical options
  • Perform orthopedic procedures including joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care for optimal recovery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and rehabilitation specialists
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage assigned to orthopedic services
  • Maintain accurate medical records documenting evaluations, treatments, and surgical outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families about diagnoses and care options
  • Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and incorporate evidence-based practices
  • Engage in continuing medical education and professional development activities
What You Need
Required:
  • Valid Vermont medical license
  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Proven proficiency in orthopedic surgical techniques
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Preferred:
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
