Surgery - General Physician

• Typical Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (practice-dependent)

• Community-based hospital setting

• Collaborative surgical & multidisciplinary team

• Broad case mix with strong specialty support

• No locums or locums-to-perm
  

• Must reside within 1-hour commute

You will provide comprehensive surgical care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and wound care settings , including:

• Hernia repair

• Cholecystectomy

• Appendectomy

• Endoscopy

• Colorectal surgery

• Small bowel obstruction management

• Skin & soft tissue procedures

• Multidisciplinary wound care management

You ll collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, PAs, perioperative teams, ED physicians, hospitalists, and wound care specialists to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

• Base Salary: $285,000 $320,000 annually

• Additional productivity-based incentives

• Compensation aligned with Vermont Act 155

• Full-time employed position

• MD or DO from accredited medical school

• Completion of General Surgery Residency (required)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery

• Active Vermont Medical License

• DEA (required prior to start)

• CPR Certification

• Strong proficiency in general surgical procedures

• Clean malpractice history

• NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
